Today at work a girl in a Tokio Hotel sweatshirt AND t-shirt [overkill, much |D] told me she liked my industrial peircing... I said thank you while I lol'ed on the inside xD

Last week of Japanese class = saddness ;___;
I'm really gonna miss this class when it's over - everyone in it is so awesome! Even sensei - lol, I think she should just teach us Japanese II even though like, no one signed up for it xD

Happy day was happy~
I don't know why today was a good day... especially after yesterday >_>

This morning I was reading a bunch of good Watchmen reviews online. Yes! I'm still obsessed with it! I can't help it - everytime I think about it I come to some new revelation that's just as astonishing as the one I made before it ^_^
So Watchmen made me happy. again.

I definatly thought I was going to lose my good mood in Aural Theory class cause we were getting our midterm back from before break and I was almost 100% sure that I failed.
But I didn't. I got a B.
yay curves~
More happiness for me.

After going over the midterm we learned about identifying 7th chords.
That's even more happiness~

7th chords just remind me Yoshiki. I mean, really? Does anyone use them more than he does? Hell! I don't think it's possible to use them more then he does!
So we're learning how to indentify how to hear the difference between Mm7, mm7, and MM7 and the professor is telling us all these differences and whatnot... I think I wrote some of them down.
I just started doodling X Japan and Japanese things all over the page ^_^
Next to MM7 I have written "Think Amethyst"
... and then Amethyst proceeded to be stuck in my head for the next hour :D

Yeah.... melissa and I have been trying to figure out what the HELL we're doing these next few months in regards to traveling and various concerts.

I'm just excited to see echostream in the end of march. I seriously LOVE the CD's Melissa got me from when they played with Blood.
It's probably only cause I'm listening to them right now but THAT'S the concert I'm really excited for right now xDDDD

So yeah, from Friday afternoon to this [Sunday] afternoon I was in Altoona, PA for a Social Justice retreat sponsered by PALOMA which I forget what that stands for.... I know the P is Pennsylvania. ^^

It was really fun and interesting. There were a lot of presentations where we were talked at but there were also a few activites which were really fun and also eye-opening.

Haha, there was one where we had to stay in these tape boxes on the ground cuase they were our community we had to do like get building permits and such but the "cops" gave benefits to some of the groups and I know we had, like, 15 people in this one small box when other groups could spread out more.
Well, anyway at one point one of the "cops" was giving me a hard time [it's a long story but we sent for a building permit and were prevented from getting it and we just started building (they were index cards lol) anyway]
SO - the cop was giving me a hard time.... I don't really like cops giving me a hard time >_> So I was trying to talk my out of it.... this is like, habit now. The "cop" ended up just walking way and Tom [whose from Jersey and has told me this before] was like, "I LOVE your NY accent!"
Me: ....? .... Oh, cause I was pissed, lol, it got worse :P

Lol, yeah, I was really lazy the past few days. I took pictures sure but I ended up being too busy at night to be able to post.

I thought I wasn't going to have a picture for today but then I poured some water into the bottle cap cause I wanted to use a q-tip to clean an earing of mine and THAT happened ^_^

I went to one of the most boring presentations of my life tonight too D: I don't know why I went ... I mean, I guess it was cuase a few of my friends had to go for a class and it was called "Fear in Politics" or something like that. You think that sounds interesting right? No. It's not.
It was so boring I thought it was a good idea to change the language on my phone to spanish xD

Today God was hilarious... in the beginning of the class we were talking about the Watchman movie and at one point the profesor was like "And, who has no idea what I'm talking about?" xD and like half the class raised their hands.
Then he deicided to make somesort of metaphor with absinthe. And again was like "And, who has no idea what I'm talking about?" and the same people raised their hands :P That's a fun class. We have a paper due in a few weeks called "What we believe about God". I've been writting it in my head for the past few days xD

... appeared in our bathroom today xD
I don't know if it was our RA or someone in the hall or something but I like it - it's cute ^^

We also has a quick meeting with our Area Coordinator - he said there were a lot of complaints about our floor and being too loud :P
I'm surprised it took us this long to get that warning.

Orchestra was also hilarious tonight - Dr.Dietrich loves to dance to the music xD

Super Bowl Sunday~

Sitting in the lounge again tonight watching the super bowl.
xD I don't really care who wins or whatnot - but I'm watching just for the hell of it and of course the pool that my mom puts mine and my brother's names into.
If Pittsburg's score ends in 0 and Arizona's score ends in 9 at the end of any of the quarters my brother and I win money ^^

It's the other half of the lounge xD
Campus was so dead today... I think cause most people went home, or at least off campus, for the Superbowl.

There was a recitle today with Dr. Dietrich and his wife and they played some really awesome pieces. Halfway through one of them, Tim turns to me and goes "this is awesome xD" ^^

Today's also the first day of February xD
Which means 9 days till my birthday :D
and 9 days till we find out who won the JRR contest xD

Yeah, I wasn't able to post last night. I took a picture, lol, but ended up staying up late to finish physics homework after various meetings [NEW DIGITAL BOARD FOR AES FTW].

The bush looked really pretty in the morning all covered in ice and whatnot... It wasn't so cool when I went to take a picture later in the afternoon but I still liked the way it looked ^^

Ashley was telling some of the other people in our hall who were in our room yesterday afternoon that that was a guy.

So far we've watched "Oceans Eleven", "Coyote Ugly" [I LOVE that movie], and now we're watching "Sister Act" xD I love that one too ^_^

I don't know if I mentioned but I decided I'm not going to the BLOOD concert next week... it's just too inconveinient to travel so much and not even stay anywhere that long D:

Lol, today my school was a death trap >_>

It's really not that much snow, but there's, like, a 2 inch layer of ice over everything o.o
We had a two hour delay this morning... which really just made more problem's than it solved in my opinion.

I thought I had made it through the whole day without slipping but then I was coming back to my building after watching American Idol with some people and I slipped and fell. On the knee that I hurt last Friday roller skating D:

In other news my Music Theory professer still cracks me up. He has this Chinese/British accent [legit] and today he said something like "You MATH enthusiast's will like this" but I coulda swore the first few times he said it he said METH enthusiasts and was just like "o.o what."

OH!! And I just remembered something else!
There are a bunch of people in my room right now and I'm at my desk [I was reading an assignment and now I'm just online xD] but they were talking about my Miyavi poster and Ashley [my roomate] was like, "Christa, who's that girl?".
First, I didn't hear cause I had my headphones in.
Second time I didn't really know what she was talking about.
^_^ Then I was like, "Oh... that's a guy.... he's a guitarist :D"

Today was fun - I didn't have much to do ^^

It was the first AES [Audio Engineering Society] meeting of the year and then we also had a general music major meeting.

We had to read some short essays for english and I think I'm really going to like this class about Creative Nonfiction. xD

So I was talking with Matt at dinner and he was looking at my phone and had asked what my background was.... it's Versailles ^^ I just said it was a band.
He asked me if I was friends with Matt O. on facebook and I said no and he said that he had posted this picture...

The thing is though, that I'm good at, like, rollar blading and ice skating... you'd think I'd be good at roller skating...
I mean, I'm not horrendous but... let's just say there was relay race and I can't turn once I start going fast and now I can't bend my left leg at the knee :P

Oh yeah, this was an LVEP event. Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership.
It's pretty cool - we all get little middle school/high school kids to mentor and if they make it though the whole program they get to come to LVC for free xD

Before LVEP, Matt, Kimmy and I went to Wallmart cause they needed things for the retreat thing they're on tonight...
Matt's car makes me laugh... it's so old and makes all these noises xD It shouldn't crack me up but it does XD

After LVEP there was a comidian here and I listened to Tainted Realities show on illegal downloads and her at the same time xD
She was really funny and TR was very interesting

I got on of my books in the mail today... 2 down, 9 to go.
I thought I wasn't going to have something to take a picture of today and then I opened that book... I think that's so... cool? interesting? I don't really know... xD I think that's what makes it awesome.

I had English and Aural Theory today...

I think my English class might actually be pretty awesome. My professor is really chill and laid back and used the phrase "rockin'" more than once...
Aural Theory was also interesting... it's not the same professor I had last semester and everyone thinks he'll be better. I liked Dr. Fung though... he was... insane ^^ Oh, I also had an exciting revelation in that class when I finaly figured out what song had been stuck in my head for the past few days xD It was alice nine. - Drella

Yeah, I head back to school tomorrow... I liked being home for a while D:
I had a thought the other day... if I go back and Ashley's not there cause she decided to go room with someone else and didn't think to tell me [not that far of a stretch, I think] I'd be the happiest person ever. I mean, honestly she's not terrible but not having to deal with her would make me so much less stressed at school [not that I'm a stressful person... I really don't stress about much]

I'm almost done cleaning my room... I'm finding so much stuff, lol, it's awesome. I FOUND MORE JRR FLYERS O_O
I mean, it wasn't a lot more, but just that fact that there were more...

I kept finding CD's all around my room and decided they could have their own little area in my bookcase... I didn't realize how many CD's I had xD
I'm gonna bring some of them to school with me cause I found my CD player while I was cleaning and I like using it ^^

Melissa and I went to ~~the city~~ New York City today and just went random places. We ment to go ice skating but it was just too damn cold to stay outside that long.

We ended up going to Kinokuniya and staying there a long time... then going to Book Off and staying there a long time. ^_^
Then made our way downtown to St. Marks and ate warm food ^_^

It looked like we could've ice skated on the street in front of my house :P Really though, I kinda liked how cold it was... it wasn't fail!cold like it has been ^_^
I know, I'm weird.

I don't know if you know, but the city's leaving the ball there all year round this year ^_^

I've been cleaning my room... still doing it actually. I'll probably just stop for the night soon and continue tomorrow since it really seems like Melissa and I aren't getting tickets to see The Fray down in DC.

It makes me really sad - we got SO close SO many times to getting tickets. This one really nice guy was going to sell us his tickets but then got a wayyyy better offer and he felt so bad for having to tell us no then but he said he really needed to money. He even offered to help us find tickets to the show in NY. Too bad it's on a Wednsday night in Feb >_> That's the whole reason we were trying to go this weekend.

I have to say: I LOVE alice nine.'s new album! And that's saying something cuase I'm not really a huge fan of theirs... I mean, they always had a few good songs here and there but other than that... nothing really amazing. And then comes VANDALIZE.
I mean, there's the singles that I've liked so far, like RAINBOWS and the beautiful name., and then 昴 (Subaru) which is simply georgous and Kiss twice, Kiss me deadly which almost has a classic rock feel!
